Nos ponemos en contacto con los italiamos Ultraviolence, encargados de abrir los conciertos especiales de los albaceteños Angelus Apatrida a finales de este mes en Madrid y Bareclona cuando graben su próximo disco en directo. Se presentan a nuestros lectores, nos comentan como afrontan ellos dichos conciertos, que opinan de Angelus Apatrida y que les espera después de su paso por España… esto es lo que nos cuentan.

M.S: Hola a todos y gracias por visitar nuestra web. ¿Cómo estáis?
¡Hola! Gracias a vosotros por la entrevista. ¡Estoy bien, y listo para responder a todas tus preguntas!
M.S: ¿Os podéis presentar para aquellos que no os conocen? Cuándo se formó la banda, su estilo musical, etc.
Ultra-Violence se formó en 2009… ¡cuando éramos unos críos 15 años! Tocamos thrash metal y, hasta la fecha, hemos lanzado un EP y dos álbumes. Durante los últimos años hemos tocado por toda Europa. Recientemente, hemos estado en Japón y tocado en un par de lugares. ¡Ha sido nuestra primera vez fuera de Europa!
M.S: A finales de enero estaréis de gira con Angelus Apatrida durante los shows que grabarán para su próximo álbum en directo. ¿Qué nos puedes contar acerca de ellos como banda?
¡En primer lugar, decir que me encanta la banda, especialmente el último disco! Soy un gran fan de la nueva generación de bandas de thrash metal y he ido a ver a Angelus Apatrida tres veces en mi país en los últimos años. Cuando conocí a Guillermo y a los chicos les di una copia de nuestro primer disco y una camiseta, la cual lució sobre el escenario esa misma noche. Cuando salió su último álbum, le vimos vistiendo nuestra camisa otra vez en uno de sus vídeos, la cual cosa nos hizo muy felices porque pensamos: "¡Tío, probablemente le gustó nuestro álbum!". La última vez que fuí a verles, Guillermo me dijo: "¡Tenemos que tocar juntos un día!" ¡Así que mantuvo su palabra!
M.S: ¿Qué significa este concierto para vosotros? ¿Qué podemos esperar de vuestros shows?
¡Significa nuestro regreso a España y estamos deseando que llegue! Ya tocamos en Barcelona, Valencia, Almería y Madrid cuando salió nuestro primer álbum, en 2013. ¡Los chicos de Nuckin’ Futs nos invitaron y lo pasamos en grande! Nos sorprendió el gran apoyo que nos mostraron los fans españoles, a pesar de que era nuestra primera vez allí y nuestro primer disco había visto la luz pocos meses antes. Sabemos que nuestra base de fans española creció después del lanzamiento de nuestro último álbum… ¡así que tenemos muchas ganas de tocar las nuevas canciones en frente de todos ellos!
M.S: ¿Qué decís a la gente para que se animen a venir a vuestros shows?
Bueno, pues que les haremos un nuevo peinado, totalmente gratis, para que salgan bien guapos en el DVD de Angelus Apatrida… jajajaja. Bromas aparte, nuestros conciertos serán filmados también. No vamos a publicar un DVD, pero queremos rodar algunas secuencias en vivo, así que llegad temprano y dejarnos ver lo locos que podéis llegara ser.
M.S: ¿Qué material vais a presentar? ¿Dónde podemos conseguirlo?
Vamos a tocar un setlist lleno de canciones de nuestros dos álbumes, que podréis adquirir allí mismo, junto algunas camisetas muy molonas.
M.S: ¿Qué estáis haciendo ahora o qué pensáis hacer tras estos conciertos?
Actualmente estamos escribiendo nuestro próximo álbum y seguiremos trabajando muy duro en él después de estos conciertos.

M.S: Hello everyone and thank you for visiting our website. How are you?
Hello! Thanks to you for the interview, I’m fine and ready to answer all your questions!
M.S: Could you please introduce yourselves for those who don’t know you? When was the band formed, your musical style, etc.
Ultra-Violence was formed in 2009, when we were a bunch of 15 years old kids! We play thrash metal and we have released an EP and two albums so far. During the last few years we had shows and some festivals around Europe. We recently reached Japan for a couple of dates, it’s been our first time out of Europe!
M.S: At the end of January you will be touring with Angelus Apatrida during the shows they will record for their next live album. What can you tell us about them as a band?
First of all I love the band, especially the last record! I’m a big fan of the new thrash metal generation of bands and I went to see Angelus Apatrida three times in my country in the last years. The first time I met Guillermo and the guys I gave them a copy of our first album and a t-shirt which he wore on stage that same night. When their last album came out we saw him wearing our t-shirt again in one of their videos, and this made us really happy because we thought: “Man, he probably liked our album!”. The last time I went to see them, Guillermo told me: “We should play together one day!” So, he kept his word!
M.S: What does this concert mean to you? What can we expect from your shows?
It means our return to Spain and we’re looking forward to it! We already played in Barcelona, Valencia, Almería and Madrid when our first album came out, back in 2013. The guys from Nuckin’ Futs invited us over and we enjoyed the shows so much! We’ve been amazed by the great support Spanish fans showed to us, despite the fact we were there for the first time and our first record was released only a few months before. We know that our Spanish fan-base grew up very well after the release of our last album, so we can’t wait to play the new tunes in front of them all!
M.S: What do you tell people to encourage them to attend your shows?
Well, we will give you a new haircut for free just in time to look great on Angelus Apatrida’s DVD, hahahaha! Jokes aside, our shows will be filmed as well. We’re not going to release a DVD but we’d like to have some cool live footage, so be there early and let us see how crazy you can be!
M.S: What material are you going to present? Where can we get it?
We will play a setlist filled with songs from both of our albums, you will be able to get at the shows, along with some very cool t-shirts!
M.S: What are you currently up to or what awaits you after these gigs?
We are currently writing our next album and we will keep working very hard on it after these gigs!
