Interview with Alan Nemtheanga about "To the nameless dead", and much more...
M.S: Hi guys! Thanks for sharing some of your time with us and congratulations for your "To the nameless dead" album, it's ***** powerfull.
A.N: Hails. Thanks very much.
M.S: Attending at the real mission of the interview, we will start talking about "To the nameless dead", your new studio album. Talk us about the new sound. What changes will find the fans between " To the nameless dead " and the other albums? Talk us about the work, your ideas...
A.N: The new album has a stronger, richer, heavier production for a start. The songs are more direct and epic, perhaps slightly more traditionally Metal. I don’t think fans of the bands will be let down by it.

M.S: For those who don't know PRIMORDIAL yet, what's your music style? Which are your influences?
A.N: Dark, passionate, honest, pure Irish Metal. It will always be Metal but we don’t feel limited by that. Our influences really are the same as when we began learning instruments : Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Candlemass, Bathory, Venom, Celtic Frost etc. Along with inspiration from the second wave of Black Metal and some modern doom and black metal underground bands. Irish traditional, soundtrack and some classical music.
M.S: How long have you guys been a band?
A.N: Realistically you could say the band you know today has been around since 1991. There is a biography on the website.

M.S: How did the writing process work? Did someone bring in a song to work on or was it spontaneous, ideas coming from jamming and just playing together?
A.N: someone comes in with an idea and we all add to it and slowly but surely the songs come together, we still write as we did in 1991. in the rehearsal room, not over the computer !.
M.S: Who created the art-work for the album of Primordial? It´s very “mystic” hehe....
A.N: Paul McCarroll from the band Scald created it, directed by me.
M.S: How do you thing your life is going to be in 10 years?
A.N: Who knows. Hopefully still singing, that’s one thing.

M.S: How do you see the Metal scene in your country?
A.N: www.metalireland.com easiest way to find out
M.S: What state do you think rock music and live gigs are in at the moment?
A.N: Festivals are killing touring and downloading is killing cds….
M.S: What are you currently up to?
A.N: Listening to Dissection and answering this ?…

M.S: Do you already Have any touring plans to support the new album?
