M.S: Hola Renatus, es un placer verte otra vez… como estás?
Hola, estoy bien, gracias. Desde el anterior libro escribí episodios para una comedia alemana, dos cómics entre otras cosas.
M.S: Habéis editado la segunda parte de vuestro libro para colorear… quiere decir que el primer capítulo fue bien?
Fue mejor de lo que el editor esperaba, haha. Pero sé que siempre encontraremos público… quiero decir, la gente que escucha rock y metal son creativos y fieles, así que sé que también aprecian un libro como este.
M.S: Que diferencia hay con el primer libro?
Bueno, tenemos otra recopilación de portadas únicas y bandas como BATTLE AXE, IRON SPELL, STORMZONE y SCANNER. También de grandes músicos como ANTHRAX, BLUES PILLS y EDGUY. Pero lo más especial para mi es el prólogo de David DeFeis de VIRGIN STEELE, que vive también entre las ruinas del libro. Este prólogo fue magnífico pero demasiado largo así que lo tuvimos que cortar por problemas de espacio con el libro.
M.S: Es para la misma edad?
Sí, otra vez desde 3 a 90, haha.
M.S: Habéis pensado una mejor distribución para este nuevo libro? Si aumenta la popularidad quizá sea una buena idea un distribuidor europeo…
Mi editor lo está buscando. Pero el tiempo dirá. Espero expandirnos y llevar el mensaje del metal a todo el mundo,haha
M.S: O quizá llevarlo a algunas escuelas, que te parece?
Sí, la idea sigue siendo bueno… así que id a vuestros profesores y comentárselo.
M.S: Si hay un segundo libro editado casi recién publicado el primero… es muy posible que estés pensando ya en el tercer capítulo, no? Quizá sea una idea poner bandas para colorear, no?
Vamos a sacar el tercer libro en Diciembre, si todo va bien. Y esta vez viene con más páginas y más portadas!
M.S: Hay alguna posibilidad de hacer un libro para adultos sobre rock/metal? Crees que sería un posible target que lo compraría?
Nuestro libro para colorear es para niños y adultos, así que eso no me preocupa.
M.S: Y ya para acabar… Que dice Jonathan de este nuevo libro?
A Jonathan le encantan los libros y cada vez que le digo ("Mira, sale tu nombre"), y sonríe.

M.S: Hi Renatus, it’s a pleasure read about you again… how are you?
Hi there, I’m fine, thank you. Since the last book I wrote episodes of a German comedy series, wrote two new Comicbooks and did other stuff.
M.S: You have released the second chapter about your rock coloring book, it means that the first chapter going so well?
It did better than the publisher expected, ha ha. But I always knew that it will find it’s audience. I mean Metal and Rock Fans are creative and loyal people so I knew they would appreciate such a book.
M.S: Whats the difference between the first book?
Well we have another bunch of great and unique covers and bands in it again like BATTLE AXE, IRON SPELL, STORMZONE and SCANNER. Also some big player like ANTHRAX, BLUES PILLS and EDGUY. But most special for me is the foreword by David DeFeis of VIRGIN STEELE, who are also with Life among the ruins in the book. This foreword was so long and great but I had to shorten it due space problems in the book.
M.S: It’s for the same age?
Yes, from 3 – 90 again, ha ha.
M.S: Do you think a better distribution for the new book? If it increase popularity maybe it’s a good idea look for an european distributor…
My publisher is holding out. But time will tell. I hope we can expand and bring the message of metal to the uninformed all over the world, ha ha.
M.S: Or maybe includes in some schools, do you think about that?
Yes, the idea is still great. Go on to your teachers, guys and tell them.
M.S: If there is a second book a quick faster after the beginning… it’s very possible that you thinking in third volume, right? Perhaps it’s a good idea coloring bands for a third chapter?
We really come up with book 3 in december I think so be aware. And this time we come with even more pages and covers!
M.S: Is there any possiblity to do an adult book about rock/metal? Do you think is it a possible target to buy it?
Our coloring book is for kids AND adults, so I don’t think about that.
M.S: And finally… What Jonathan says about this new book?
Jonathan loves the books and everytime I tell him (“Look, this is your name in it.”), he grins.
