M.S: Hi guys, thank you for spending some time with us today. How are you doing?.
Hi this is Oscar here, were doing really good. Right now were in Malaga having a few days off on the European tour just relaxing. It´s sunny and the beer is cold!
M.S: Why don’t you introduce yourself to our readers so they can get to know you better?..Tell us something about the origins of INNOCENT ROSIE, influences, band members, etc..
We started out in 2005 and since then weve had som member changes. The line today is Benny (drums) Olof (bass) Joel ( Rythm gituar) Dixxi ( Lead gituar) And me Oscar on Vocals and harmonica. We all listen to all kinds of music and that´s what makes our sound in the end. It´s pure straight up energy filled rock n´roll as it should sound, shitty and loud!
M.S: Tell us something about your first cd, Bad Habit Romance.
Yeah, its our debut album. 12 tracks recorded in a studio outside of Halmstad (sweden). It was released in february 2009 and so far it´s been doing really good with nice reviews and people seem to dig the songs. We´ve been touing alot since we released it and it´s been an awsome ride.
M.S: Who is Rosie? The same that ACDC song Whole lotta Rosie?
We dont really know ourselves, our first gituarist came up with the name when we first formed the band and since then we just kinda stuck to it. There´s an old demo song called “Innocent Rosie” wich is written about her and she´s just not as innocent as she may seem. But it´s not the same as in the ACDC song, she is much fatter.
M.S: What song would you recommend to someone who hasn’t heard about INNOCENT ROSIE?
Ok i´ll say two songs then.My personal favourites on the album is Animal and Shine, so go listen to them n´ you will know what were about. Animal is up tempo punk style and Shine is more of an classic rock tune. I love them both.
M.S: What if someone wants to get your album, where can they buy them?..

M.S: What would you change from music industry nowadays (if something)?
Everything is to fucking pollished nowdays, there to much music without heart and soul. Alot of times the easy way is the best way, just do it the way it feels right and fuck following the mainstream, go with the flow instead. Record companies throw money in bands without caring about the music, they just wanto sell sell sell. It´s just wrong thinking.
M.S: Is there a country/city where you feel more confortable to play than others?
Right now were all loving to be in spain, all countries are good but we havnt played here before and the response is really good so..SPAIN!
M.S: For those who have not seen you live yet, what can someone find in a INNOCENT ROSIE concert?
It will be lovelly chaos of loud music and sweat. Full throttle all the way through, if u like the cd u will love us live. To play live is the reason we play, thats were u get the real deal of Innocent rosie. In your face!
M.S: Do you have any specific goals you want to achieve in the future?
As long as we can play shows and manage live off it were happy. But we dont see any stops in our way. We wanto make it all the way to the arenas. Either way it´s good.

M.S: Hola, Gracias por dedicarnos algo de tiempo. Qué tal os va?
O: Hola. Soy Oscar, estamos bien. Ahora mismo estamos en Malaga pasando unos dias que tenemos libres en la gira europea. Hace sol y la cerveza está fresquita!
M.S: ¿Porque no es presentais vosotros así nuestros lectores os pueden conocer mejor? Decidnos algo sobre los origines/las raices de Innocent Rosie, vuestras influencias, los miembros de la banda, etc.
O: Empezamos en 2005 y desde entonces hemos tenido algunos cambios en el grupo. La formación hoy en día es Benny (batería), Olof (bajo), Joel (guitarra), Dixxi (guitarra principal). Y yo, Oscar, la harmónica y cantante. Todos nosotros escuchaos todo tipo de música y eso es lo que al final hace nuestro sonido. Es puro y enérgico rock´n´roll, sucio y alto!!!
M.S: Contadnos algo sobre vuestro primer cd, Bad Habit Romance.
O: Es nuestro album de debut. 12 canciones grabadas en un estudio a las afueras de Halmstad (Suecia). Se publicó en febrero del 2009 y hasta ahora ha ido bastante bien con buenas criticas y la gente parece gustarles las canciones. Llevamos de gira desde hace mucho, desde que se publico y está siendo fantástico.
M.S: ¿Quién es Rosie? ¿La misma que la canción de ACDC Whole Lotta Rosie?
O: Pues no lo sabemos ni nosotros mismos. Se le ocurrió a nuestro primer guitarrista cuando formamos el grupo y desde entonces lo hemos mantenido. Hay una demo antigua de una canción titulada “Innocent Rosie” que está escrita sobre ella y no es tan inocente como parece. Pero no es la misma que la canción de ACDC, es mucho más gorda (obesa).
MS. ¿Qué canción recomendarías a alguien que nunca ha escuchado a Innocent Rosie?
O: Ok. Yo diria que dos canciones. Mis favoritas en el disco son “Anima” y “Shine”, asi que escuchalas y sabrás lo que hacemos. Animal es de estilo punk y Shine es más una canción de rock clásico. Me encantan las dos.
MS. Y si alguien quiere conseguir vuestro cd, donde lo pueden comprar?
O: Pueden ir a www.myspace.com/innocentrosie y haces click en el enlace “compra el cd aquí” y desde ahí solamente tienes que rellenar algunas cosas y al cabo de un par de dias, lo tendrás en tus manos.
MS. ¿Qué cambiarias de la industria de la música hoy en día (si es que cambiarias algo)?
O: Todo esta demasiado pulido(cuidado) hoy en día. Hay demasiada música sin corazón y sin alma. Muchas veces la mejor manera es la manera fácil , solo hazlo en la manera que sea correcta y deja de seguir lo establecido, dejate llevar por la corriente. Las compañias de música invierten dinero en las bandas sin cuidar la música, solo quieren vender vender vender. Es un pensamiento erróneo
MS. Hay algún país o ciudad donde os sentís más comodos al tocar?
O: Ahora mismo nos encanta estar en España. Todos los paises son buenos pero no hemos tocado aquí antes y la acogida esta siendo realmente buena asi que… ESPAÑA!
MS. Para aquellos que no os han visto todavía en directo, qué se puede encontrar en unos de vuestros conciertos?
O: Sería un maravilloso caos de música a tope y sudor. Todo aceleración. Si te gusta nuestro cd, te gustará nuestro directo. Tocar en directo es la razón por la que tocamos, es donde realmente ves lo auténtico de Innocent Rosie.
MS. ¿Téneis algún objetivo específico que quereis conseguir en el futuro?
O: Mientras podamos tocar y mantenernso con eso, somos felices. Pero no vemos ninguna parada en nuestro camino. Queremos llegar a tocar en estadios. De cualquier de las maneras, está bien.
