También fuimos a Slaughter by the Water en San Francisco y Power of the Riff aquí en Los Ángeles.

M.S: Hello mates, thank you for your time, it is a pleasure to have you here once again …
Matt: Thanks, buddy! Great to be alive and kicking.

M.S: As in the rest of the world, are you having a hard days with Covid19, how has it affected your business? When did you close it in quarantine?
Matt: Well we have not closed except a day here or there to give our crew some time with their families. We are considered an essential business in Los Angeles so we are able to continue to serve food but only for to-go purposes. The inside portion of the restaurant is essentially closed until the stay at home orders are either relaxed or lifted.

M.S: Looking back in time, we discovered you 6 years ago with a fantastic hamburgers arsenal with band names … What are the most requested by people today …
Matt: The Metallica which is as pure California born as the band. Avocado, house made ranch, lettuce, tomato, swiss and red onion.

M.S: In all these years … have you ever thought about expanding your restaurant or buying another one?
Matt: Yep! It will happen when the dark lord makes it so.

M.S: On a wall of your restaurant shows «Death to false burgers», for those who do not know how to differentiate them, who has a good hamburger?
Matt: Well, we do don’t we?

M.S: What do you suggest of your menu?
Matt: I suggest you stuff your face, wipe off the grease from your beard, slam some high octane local beers and repeat.

M.S: Have you participated in any music festival during these years?
Matt: When we had the truck we brought it to the Big 4 gig in Indio. So we got to sell burgs and watch Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and Metallica slay all day. We also went to Slaughter by the Water in San Fran and Power of the Riff here in LA.

M.S: Do you continue with your food truck? Here it has not been established as a diary street food, only in events or festivals …
Matt: Nope, they were sent off in a classic Viking funeral in the year of 2015.

M.S: This downtime could lead to what we were saying about adding new dishes to your menu?
Matt: No down time here, brotha!

M.S: We imagine that bands continue to go Grill Em All, any situation that you can tell us about?
Matt: Dude we have so many rad people come through our doors. Kerry King from Slayer, Dee Snider, Black Dahlia Murder, Zakk Wylde, Dave Muistane, Dark Funeral, Tony Erba from 9 Shocks Terror. I am sure I am forgetting plenty.

M.S: We see that you have T-shirts on your website, do you ship worldwide?
Matt: Yes, but not on our Big Cartel store. Check out our store run through Kings Road Merch.

M.S: Thank you for your time, we have reached the end, this is the moment if you want to say one last message, good luck and we hope that everything will return to normal life soon …
Matt: Party on and be excellent to each other.
